Visual AIDS strives to increase
public awareness of AIDS through the visual arts, creating programs
of exhibitions, events and publications, and working in partnership
with artists, galleries, museums and AIDS organizations.
By mobilizing the visual arts communities, Visual AIDS raises money to provide direct services to artists living with HIV/AIDS. |

funny
thing, when i first saw "Caduceus", I thought it was a snake
wrapped around a smokestack; after buying it, i realized it was a cock.
A day later, i realized it was a cock shooting it's head off! Ain't
Art fun?

Postcards
from the Edge
is Visual AIDS' annual benefit sale of postcard-sized artwork
by established and emerging artists. All works are priced at $50 and
sold on a first come, first served basis. The works of art are exhibited
so that the artists signatures cannot be seen. Buyers have a list
of participating artists but do not know who created each piece until
time of purchase. Postcards from the Edge is famous within the
art world as the most exciting and affordable way to build a collection
of work by internationally renowned artists as well as young and emerging
artists. For only $50, you can buy the art you love, while supporting
an important cause.
